A benign vascular pigmented injury caused by an abnormal grouping of blood vessels. Pigmented injuries are caused by the accumulation of melanin that colors the skin dark brown.
WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
The patient must consult a doctor to choose the correct treatment for the size and location of the injury. Many injuries can be treated in short sessions. In the case of resistant injuries, it is recommended to repeat the process in order to achieve better results.

Marks are caused by melanin accumulation in some skin cells (melanin is a substance that colors skin) there are many different methods to treat these pigmented injuries: dermabrasion, cryosurgery or plastic surgery. This last one has a longer recovery.

FRECKLES AND SOLAR LENTIGOS
Lentigos: pigmented marks caused by solar damage.
Freckles: small pigmented dots that appear at birth or later.
The best to remove both of them is using laser. We have many different lasers depending on the type of skin. The treatment is safe and fast and results are surprising. A laser ray is applied to the injury and absorbs the melanin removing the spot.
There is the need of using many types of lasers to remove spots, since some of them only treat pigments in a superficial way and some others reach deeper dermis areas.
