NO MORE UNWANTED MARKS:
A benign vascular pigmented injury caused by an abnormal grouping of blood vessels. Pigmented injuries are caused by the accumulation of melanin that colors the skin dark brown.
WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
The patient must consult a doctor to choose the correct treatment for the size and location of the injury. Many injuries can be treated in short sessions. In the case of resistant injuries, it is recommended to repeat the process in order to achieve better results.
The advantages of Pulse Light AFT in vascular injuries and marks are many, but one of the most interesting ones is that it is a pain and scar less process. This process need no recovery and may be used to treat many kind of injuries achieving great results.
Marks are caused by melanin accumulation in some skin cells (melanin is a substance that colors skin) there are many different methods to treat these pigmented injuries: dermabrasion, cryosurgery or plastic surgery. This last one has a longer recovery.
Today we have many different last generation lasers to treat many different types of pigmented injuries in an efficient way. Some of these pigmented injuries are:
- Freckles
- Solar lentigos or age spots
- Different types of nevus
- Dyschromia
- Melasma and chronic hyper pigmentations
FRECKLES AND SOLAR LENTIGOS
Lentigos: pigmented marks caused by solar damage.
Freckles: small pigmented dots that appear at birth or later.
The best to remove both of them is using laser. We have many different lasers depending on the type of skin. The treatment is safe and fast and results are surprising. A laser ray is applied to the injury and absorbs the melanin removing the spot.
There is the need of using many types of lasers to remove spots, since some of them only treat pigments in a superficial way and some others reach deeper dermis areas.
DYSCHROMIAS
Dyschromias are skin discolorations that appear showing different tones.
The Barrancas Medical Center has many lasers to gain homogeneity in skin coloration using treatments that need no anesthesia and no recovery.
ADVANTAGES
- High powered laser treatment, approved by the FDA and de CE.
- Safe fast and effective
- Painless.
- Need neither recovery nor general or local anesthesia
- Our great variety of lasers allows us to treat superficial and deep injuries.
MELASMAS AND HYPER PIGMENTATIONS
They are chronic pigmented spots, or marks with a multifactorial origin. Our Medical Center has many treatments based on high technology lasers to improve your image with amazing results. This allows us to treat deep injuries, unlike conventional topic cream treatments that solve superficial problems.
VASCULAR AND PIGMENTED INJURIES
Vascular and pigmented injuries are frequent questions in Aesthetic Medicine. We have incorporated new technologies to treat our patients with the objective to be able to offer efficient solutions to their problems.
An all cases and even when le source f the light may be different depending on the injury we are treating, (IPL or Nd:YAG), results achieved by selective photothermolysis, with which a destruction of the Diana tissue is produced (melanin or haemoglobin depending on the case) thanks to the absorption of a specific wave length, causing no harm to the surrounding tissue.
WHAT KIND OF INJURIES CAN BE TREATED?
Thanks to the laser equipment’s versatility, many injuries can be treated:
- Face, neck, hands and low neck line skin texture changes that show as spots and red areas, reflecting accumulated solar damage (non invasive rejuvenation)
- Rosacea
- Dilated pores
- Thin wrinkles improve visibly, reducing efficiently cutaneous aging signs.
- Spots (red or dark) and facial spider veins
- Ruby dots
- Varicose veins or non aesthetic vascular facial nets. As time goes by, leg veins start to become visible. Most common reasons are genetic heritage, pregnancies, posture (long hours standing).
